Más Información

You have made a smart decision by getting certified by AWS. This certification means better chances in your career, both in salary and in safety and opportunities, and proves that your level of knowledge and experience are at the level of the world’s elite welding professionals. Working with companies around the world is possible due to this certification. If you work in a national company, you will help your company to offer its products and services on an international level.

To achieve the certification you must pass an exam that requires a high level of knowledge, practical work experience and ability to interpret and comply with complex welding codes. If you, like anyone else, devote some of your time to study and training, AWS is the answer.

We offer intensive seminars to help you prepare for the AWS exams. Our experienced instructors will help you learn the subjects you need to quickly and safely understand the most widely used welding regulations in the world.

AWS seminars have an excellent value. The price includes a complete preparation course with practical work taught by experienced and prestigious professionals. You can choose several options depending on your level of preparation and experience, as well as bibliography, as proposed and explained in the attached program. In addition, by taking the seminars, you can become part of the most wanted and recognized professional association, as a member of AWS, with subscriptions to the prestigious Welding Journal and an extensive and useful bibliography that will help you in your job.

Once you are certified, you will also receive a subscription to Inspection Trends magazine, which will keep you informed of the latest advancements in welding and material inspection technology.

The AWS training weeks are offered in Spain, for the first time, so that you can access a globally recognized certification without traveling to any foreign country. Although the training is bilingual, because the codes you will have to interpret are mostly written in English, you will have Spanish and English speaking instructors who will make sure you understand the topics being taught. In addition to training in welding, these bilingual seminars involve intensive training in technical English that you will need to master. So these intensive seminars are about welding and additionally about the English you need for the development of your profession.

Although examinations for certification as a CWI can be carried out based on various codes, we have chosen the AWS D.1.1 code as it is a complete code in everything related to the construction of a welded component, which once mastered will help in the interpretation of any code we may have to work with in the future. In addition, practical training is given on “Welding Inspection Technology and Visual Inspection” which will serve as a basis for your work as a welding inspector in determining the quality of a weld, detecting defects and evaluating them, and in preparing the necessary reports to support the work carried out and the approval of the procedures used by your company and welders.

When you are preparing for a test that will show you are one of the best, search for people who know how to prepare you in the most effective way: AWS. From the development of codes and specifications that keep our industry strong, to the creation of literature with which to share all the information gathered over nearly a century, and the administration of the tests that reassure that knowledge. AWS is your best option to prepare yourself as the best.
